COVID-19 UPDATE

During this time of uncertainty, we are committed to keeping Timber Line Barn safe and healthy for our couples and their guests.

Timber Line Barn is currently complying with the recent Missouri state-wide Stay at Home order and will start holding weddings as of May 4th, 2020.

We are also complying with the Recent State Health Order Guidelines

and continue to work with our couples very closely to provide clarity and support during these uncertain times.

Below are some of the measures we will take to ensure that each Wedding can be enjoyed safely while following state guidelines.

Actions we take to keep our facility safe and healthy:

  • The venue is set up to accommodate social distancing guidelines for ceremonies, seating, food lines, and reception activities.

  • We use a CDC approved (specifically for COVID-19) disinfectant for sanitizing surfaces, floors, equipment, etc.

  • All surfaces including chairs, tables, door handles, light switches, hand rails, available decor, etc, are sanitized immediately before the event rental time.

  • All decor items are sanitized before being returned.

  • Provide ample hand-washing supplies such as soap, paper towels, large trash receptacles and 2 bathrooms.

  • Signs are available that encourage thorough hand-washing.

  • Communication to our couples is direct, timely, professional and transparent.

Recommendations we make for our couples:

  • Encourage guests to maintain a distance of 6 feet from other guests who do not occupy the same household.

  • Omit the receiving line.

  • No bubbles for the couples send off.

  • Place hand sanitizers at each table, and anywhere else necessary.

  • Live stream the ceremony, dances, cake cutting, etc for invited guests who are not able to attend.

  • Utilize the outdoor spaces (patios, lawn, courtyard) as much as possible.

  • Have a designated drink server or supply a "grab and go" style drink like cans or bottled water.

  • Choose a caterer to serve guests or assign designated servers instead of allowing guests to handle serving utensils.

  • Send 1 table up to the food line at a time and provide 6 ft between each person in line.

  • Ask guests who are showing symptoms of illness or who have been in contact with others who are showing symptoms of illness to no longer attend but instead watch the live stream if available.

  • Send guests a letter provided by Timber Line Barn that goes over the above recommendations.

  • Provide cloth masks to guests if available.

We are here to support you.
